If an embassy or consulate asks for a Turkish-English or English-Turkish translation, send the document and its written requirements. Yesim can check suitability, the requested certification and the price before accepting the work.
Documents for review can include civil certificates, powers of attorney, official letters, and military-service status or discharge records (askerlik durum belgesi and terhis belgesi). Say which office will receive the translation, the application purpose, the language required and your deadline.
Check the receiving office's requirements before paying for a translation. It decides whether an external translation is needed and whether a consulate-registered translator, notarisation, an apostille or consular certification is required. These are different from a translator's signed accuracy statement; NRPSI registration alone does not establish consular registration.

Certification in the UK
The UK does not have a single government system of “sworn translators”. Depending on the recipient, a translation can include a signed accuracy statement, date, stamp and the translator’s full details. Always ask the receiving organisation what it needs; GOV.UK explains the general certification approach.
Direct answers
Yesim provides document translation in both directions. Turkish-to-English requests can include civil certificates, population records, court papers, qualifications and employment records. English-to-Turkish requests can include English birth or marriage certificates, final orders and existing powers of attorney.
State the language you need and who will receive the translation. Requirements for UK use are not automatically the same as those of a Turkish authority or consulate. Yesim can review your Turkish population register extract for an English translation. Send a readable copy of every page, including any notes, stamps, QR codes and continuation pages. If your document has a düşünceler (remarks) section, include it rather than cropping the page to names and dates.
Tell her which organisation will receive it, your deadline and whether its checklist requests a certified translation. If you already have an English or multilingual document, send that version and check whether the receiving organisation accepts it before paying for another translation. This guide does not decide which type of population record your application needs or whether it replaces a birth or marriage certificate.

The website quote form accepts up to 10 separate files, with a combined limit of 7 MB. A JPEG contains one image; a PDF can contain several pages. If your phone shows a four-photo gallery, attach each image separately or send a PDF containing all the pages—not just a screenshot of the first photo. The selected-file count counts files, not document pages. If your files exceed the form limit, use the WhatsApp or email contact option instead.

Ecctis Industry Skills Statements, which can support certain construction and trade-card applications, require professional signed and stamped translations when documents are not in English. No. An apostille authenticates an official signature or seal; a translation explains the document in another language. Ask the receiving organisation whether it needs the original, an apostille and a translation of the apostille itself. Send all attached pages for review. Yesim provides translation, not apostille issuance or notarisation. The UK Legalisation Office does not legalise documents issued outside the UK. Read the official UK legalisation guidance.

First check whether the receiving organisation accepts an English-language record obtained through e-Devlet. The Turkish Ministry of Justice says criminal-record results are available in English and other languages. For UK immigration routes where an overseas criminal-record certificate is required, Home Office guidance says a certificate not in English must be accompanied by a compliant translation. If you only have a Turkish certificate or the recipient asks for an independent certified translation, send every page and its checklist.
