Can you translate a Turkish divorce judgment or an English final order?
Yesim can review a Turkish divorce judgment for translation into English, or an English divorce document for translation into Turkish. Send the complete judgment or order and any attached finality endorsement (kesinleşme şerhi), certification, apostille or continuation pages. State the translation direction, the receiving organisation and your deadline so the quote can identify the pages to be translated.
In England and Wales, the document ending a marriage or civil partnership is called a final order or decree absolute. These English titles are not a claim that different countries’ documents have identical legal effects. A translation does not obtain a court document, register a divorce, provide an apostille or establish recognition abroad. The receiving organisation decides its requirements.
Check GOV.UK’s final order and decree absolute guidance. Upload the complete divorce document for a quote.
Can you translate Turkish custody, guardianship, parental consent or adoption documents?
Yesim first checks whether she can provide the requested translation. Send every page of any Turkish custody or child arrangements order, guardianship order, parental consent document (muvafakatname), adoption order or decision, or related court paper, together with instructions from the receiving court, solicitor, local authority or other organisation and your deadline. She will then confirm the certification format, price and timing before work begins. Translation is not family-law advice and does not guarantee acceptance or any legal or administrative outcome.
How much is legal document translation?
Legal translation is priced from £0.12 per word. The firm total is based on the complete document.
Will Yesim translate it herself?
Yes. Every document is reviewed and translated personally by Yesim; it is not outsourced or machine-translated.
Can you translate an existing power of attorney (vekaletname)?
Send the complete Turkish or English power of attorney, including seals and attachments, and say which solicitor, bank or authority needs the translation. Translation is different from drafting, signing or issuing a power of attorney. For a Turkish consular appointment, check the procedure and any requirement for a consulate-registered interpreter before booking. Yesim can review the document and confirm whether she can provide the requested translation. Read the official London consular notarial guidance.
Can you translate Turkish inheritance, probate or property documents?
Send every page of the will, inheritance or succession certificate (veraset ilamı), title deed (tapu), probate decision or related correspondence, and name the solicitor, court, bank or authority that will receive it. HMCTS probate forms require English translations for certain foreign wills and official succession or inheritance documents that are not in English. Yesim can confirm translation suitability, certification, price and timing; she does not provide probate or property advice or verify ownership. Check the current HMCTS probate guidance.
