Cookie Policy
Every cookie this site uses, what it does, how long it lasts and how to switch it off.

No cookie here stores your name, your documents or anything you type.
A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so it can recognise the same visitor again. These count visits and match enquiries to adverts. Nothing more.
Measuring the website
Google Analytics is used to count visitors, see which pages are read and which are ignored, and check that the enquiry form works on every device.
- _ga
- Tells one returning visitor apart from a new one. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_XH47L9RQMP
- Keeps track of a single visit while it is happening. Lasts 2 years.
These record pages viewed, roughly where in the country the visit came from, the type of device, and which contact buttons were tapped. They do not record your name, your email address, your telephone number or anything you write into the form.
Adverts
Yesim advertises on Google. These make it possible to tell which adverts produce real enquiries, so money is not spent on the ones that produce none.
- _gcl_au
- Links an enquiry back to the advert that was clicked. Lasts 90 days.
- _gcl_aw
- Set only if you arrived by clicking a Google advert. Lasts 90 days.
Google may also set cookies on its own domains when these tools load — commonly IDE and test_cookie on doubleclick.net, and NID on google.com. Those belong to Google rather than to this site, and Google explains them at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Cookies the site needs
The quote form is protected against automated spam submissions. That protection may set a short-lived cookie when you submit the form. It is there to stop the inbox filling with rubbish, and the form cannot work reliably without it.
This site does not use cookies for advertising networks other than Google, for social media tracking, or for sharing data with any data broker.
How to switch them off
Refusing them costs you nothing. Every page, the quote form and the contact buttons all work exactly the same.
- In your browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all allow you to block or delete cookies for a single site from their settings, usually under Privacy. Doing so removes everything listed above.
- Google's own opt-out — a browser add-on that stops Analytics on every site at once, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Advert personalisation — turn off personalised Google adverts across the web at myadcenter.google.com.
What is done with the information these cookies collect is set out in the Privacy Policy. If a cookie is added or removed, the list above changes with it.
